Quick Start Guide: Arali Zoom App
Last updated: March 9, 2026
Arali is a conversation intelligence layer that sits on top of your meetings. The Arali Zoom app lets you capture and analyse meetings directly within Zoom — no additional software needed.
What is Arali?
Arali is a conversation intelligence platform that captures customer interactions across Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, calls, emails, and chat — then automatically extracts deal signals, objections, churn risks, competitor mentions, and action items. Your CRM stays up to date without manual effort, and every team gets the intelligence they need to drive revenue.
What are the requirements to use the Arali Zoom app?
To use the Arali Zoom app, you must:
- Be the host of the meeting
- Have a paid Zoom account (the Zoom app does not work with free Zoom accounts)
- Have the Arali Zoom app installed from the Zoom App Marketplace
Create Your Account
Go to arali.ai and sign up using your work email, or sign in with Google or Microsoft SSO. Once logged in, you'll land on the Arali dashboard where all your meetings, recordings, and insights are organized.
Connect Your Calendar
Navigate to Settings and connect your Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook. Arali will automatically detect upcoming Zoom meetings and prepare to join them, so you never miss a conversation.
Connect Your CRM
Link your CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, Pipedrive, or others) so Arali can auto-update deal stages, log meeting notes, and sync extracted signals like objections, competitor mentions, and commitment levels — no manual data entry required.
Create a Meeting Bot
From the dashboard, click "New Bot" or paste a Zoom meeting link. You can also let Arali auto-join all calendar meetings. The bot joins as a named participant — all attendees are notified of its presence.
Installing the Zoom App
Before following the steps below, make sure you're logged into Zoom with the account you'd like to use with Arali.
- Open your Zoom app and click on the Apps icon
- Search Arali and click Add
- Confirm permissions, click Authorize
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your calendar
- Click Start Guided Test Call to launch Arali onboarding
- When prompted, click End meeting for all followed by Continue Tutorial
- At the end of Part 2, launch the Arali App to complete onboarding and installation
Do I need to connect my Zoom account?
Yes. All Arali users must connect their Zoom account in order for Arali to join Zoom calls. To connect:
- Go to My Settings in Arali
- Navigate to Video Conferencing
- Click Connect next to Zoom
For more information about connecting your Zoom account, visit your Arali settings at app.arali.ai.
Using Arali on Your Call
Launching Arali
After starting a Zoom meeting, click the Zoom Apps Icon and open the Arali App.
Using the Live Panel
Once you open the Arali app, the live panel will display on the right of your Zoom window. This is your command center for capturing key moments throughout your meeting.
Recording with Arali
To begin recording with Arali, click the green Start Recording button. You can also enable auto-record on the Settings page to skip this step for all meetings moving forward.
Highlights
Easily keep track of events, activities, or tasks mentioned during your meetings with a click of a button. Click on the Highlight button during your meeting and jot down a quick note to reference later.
Review Summaries & Action Items
After the meeting ends, Arali processes the recording and generates a structured summary with key topics, action items, objections raised, competitor mentions, buyer signals, and next steps — all accessible from your dashboard.
Track Insights Across Teams
Use Arali's dashboards to monitor deal health, churn risks, expansion signals, and forecast accuracy. Sales, Customer Success, RevOps, and Marketing teams all get role-specific views with the intelligence that matters most to them.
Uninstalling the Zoom App
- Log in to your Zoom account and navigate to the Zoom Marketplace
- Click Manage > Installed Apps or search for the Arali app
- Click Uninstall next to Arali
- Confirm the dialogue, click Uninstall
If you have auto-record or auto-request recording consent enabled, in addition to uninstalling the app, you'll need to go to your Arali settings to deactivate those options.
